Martine Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X gave their lives to change the world. They could not go on with things the same old way and not do something about it. Their efforts have made a lasting impact on the world we live in -- while certainly not perfect, the world is better because of their ideas and their sacrifices.

If i could change one thing in the world I would have everyone be middle class eliminating the upper and lower class rankings. This is because I feel like I world poverty rate is extremely high and it seems like the upper class humans don't even care that rest if the world is suffering because they are living there best life. Also because lower class people are dying everyday because they are not able to provide themselves with the basic human needs.

If everyone including the government put more effort in global warming then we wouldn't be in as big of a situation as we are in. Everyone is saying that this is not our generations problem, but we caused this. We have to do better for the next generation.

I would try to diminish addiction throughout society. It's a disease that's very difficult to combat because it sometimes stems from normal activities. However, it is extremely destructive because it spares no one and can make bad situations significantly worse. It leads people to be incompetent, incapacitated, or dangerous. The world would be much better without it.

Global warming, Because it's gonna kill everything, that includes us, and I'm not primarily referring to Natural global warming. Fossil fuels and carbon emissions cause the greenhouse gas effect which traps heat in the earth, melting glaciers & overflowing the oceans, meaning many of the land we know will be sunken underwater. Another energy source at least should be made that doesn't boil us all.

What I would want to change about the world is the level of poverty. A lot of Americans are facing poverty. The upper class seems to not care about the lower class, so I would change the poverty level so the lower class will be able to provide themselves with what they need.

If I was to change one thing in the world I would change the Immigration policies because the way our government and our president is dealing with immigration is really a mess and needs to do better. Many kids are being separated from their parents at a young age and their parents are being deported back to their country because they are so called "Bad Hombres". I feel strongly about this phrase, but not because I am Latina but because I know why these people come to America in the first place. Many people migrate to the states because it has many opportunities that they would never get in their country. For example, jobs, education, protection from violence and they risk it all to come here. None of them wake up one day and say "i'm going to the United States to destroy it". Wrong they come for a better life for themselves their family and the way we are acting upon the situation is unfair and could cause many problems in the future, such as kids. When they are older some of them will deal with a lot of pain and will suffer mentally from all the harsh experiences they've been through and their going to need someone to talk to so that is how I am going to change or help this situation by becoming a Therapist that can help kids and adults in Spanish and in English.

I want to change all the war in the world. I think that there are different ways to solve conflicts and some things that start wars shouldn't be blown out of proportion like they are. I think that wars needlessly kill innocent people, and, while sometimes necessary, should happen a lot less.

I would want to change the world by making people more open to ideas rather than thinking that they cannot cooperate with people who have very different views compared to them. In this way, we could also solve conflicts and situations. If we solve more conflicts and situations, then countries would have less of a need to maintain their military which could mean that they could put more of that money into education where people would be able to learn how to adapt with others easily.
This idea of course, would probably be just a fantasy considering the current state of affairs in the world. Nonetheless, people could be more informed about different ideas or cultures so that we could at least go in the right direction.

If I had the power to change the world, the first thing I would change is the selfishness of people. If you think about it, most wars are started by a person's selfish wants. It is a huge problem for me because when a nation goes into war, they bring in all the people of that country into a problem they were never apart of. Innocent lives are taken and meddled with. Overall, selfishness breeds war and conflict. I would like to change the goals of the world leaders and make them focus on what their nation needs rather than what they want.

One thing I would change about the world is the US's organ donation system. Too many people are dying waiting for an organ to come. A number of countries in Europe have a system where people are automatically enrolled to be organ donors when they die and they have to persuade to opt out. I, myself, had to wait 10 months for my heart transplant and spent many months on the national transplant waiting list.

There are innocent people killed in those mass shootings. People with families, friends, a job. I feel as if I wouldn't change anything,I think real change starts from the inside and the desire to change. I think changes to the world are temporary or can be changed at sometime in the future, like racism there will never be a permanent solution to it. If they didn't want to hate they wouldn't they don't feel as if they need to change or even want to and then they have kids/children who grow up with the parents form of thinking. The problem isn't with the kids nor the parents its the cycle that presents itself when people don't desire change.

One thing I want to change about the world is the justice system. I want to change the justice system because it's highly unfair when it comes to sentencing people of color and white Americans. The shooter in the Sante Fe school shooting, Dimitrios Pagourtzis (white male) isn't receiving the death penalty for killing 10 people, but a rapper named Tay-K (person of color) is facing the death penalty for only having 1 person killed. Both individuals are from texas and this example clearly shows how unfair the justice system is.

I would change that because it's unfair that people are treated differently just because of the color of their skin. Also, inequality between genders.
